William Anderson, PharmD, MBA, is director of pharmaceutical services at Health First Health Plans, in Rockledge, Florida. He completed his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, and Masters Degree in Business Administration at the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida.In addition to both clinical and administrative roles in health systems including clinical pharmacist and clinical coordinator, his current administrative role has helped Dr. Anderson develop an intense appreciation for the importance of patient-focused health and wellness in integrated health systems management. Dr. Anderson chairs the Pharmacy, Therapeutics and New Technology committee, and is responsible for Pharmacy Benefit Operations, including contracting and strategy development. Additional responsibilities include Medicare Bid development, Part D operations, commercial/ASO pharmacy services and health systems integration.
Dr. Christopher Stanley is currently the senior medical director UnitedHealthcare of Colorado. In this position, he leads health services for Colorado, New Mexico, Montana and Wyoming, including multiple insurance products including UnitedHealthcare, PacifiCare, Secure Horizons and Evercare members. His work focuses on the delivery of quality healthcare both inside and outside of the hospital setting while also managing healthcare cost trends. Immediately prior to his current position, Dr. Stanley was director of medical science liaisons for Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Stanley has also practiced as a pediatrician in Germany (through the US Army) and Denver, Colorado. He also held several administrative medicine roles within a large group practice and UnitedHealthcare in North Carolina. Dr. Stanley continues to be board-certified in pediatrics and is active in the Colorado Medical Society.Dr. Stanley holds a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Missouri State University), an MD from the University of Missouri-Columbia and an MBA from University of Colorado. He is also active in Colorado non-profit organizations and holds board seats with the American Lung Association of Colorado, the Colorado Children's Immunization Collaborative and the Colorado Clinical Guidelines Collaborative. He lives in Arvada, Colorado, with his wife and daughter.
