***This position can be based in Moline, IL or Edina, MN***
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct clinical pharmacy appeals identified by the UHPS Regulatory Compliance group as requiring pharmacist review.
- Deliver high quality, timely decisions consistent with UHPS coverage policies.
- Research clinical pharmacy data and literature to support appeals decisions
- Provide detailed written explanations on why an appeal was either approved or denied.
- Respond to inquires from internal stakeholders as well as external regulatory bodies as needed for any items that need clarification or justification
Requirements:
- Current unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state you reside.
- A minimum of 3 years of Pharmacy experience
- Experience working in a Managed Care setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills required

- Pharm D
- Appeals experience
- PBM experience
