We are seeking a dynamic Director of Pharmacy to lead our Pharmacy Department to the next level. We are a centralized/decentralized pharmacy department providing staff and clinical pharmacy services within our hospital.
Our ideal candidate will have recent experience within an acute care hospital as a Director of Pharmacy OR as a Pharmacy Manager within a 300+ bed size facility who may be seeking to advance their career.
Responsibilities :
24/7 Overall management of our Pharmacy Department
Strategic development of Pharmacy Department
Oversee and continually improve department's policies and procedures
Staff Management including pharmacy clinical coordinator and pharmacy supervisor
Quickly develop relationships with our hospital executive team, nursing departments, physicians, etc...
Fiscal, capital expense, operating budget

nvolvement in formularies, maintain and improve as necessary
JCHCO
Oversee clinical pharmacy services including pharmacokinetics, IV to PO, Anticoagulation Service, antibiotic service and drug information.
